Selection Criteria
- Professional Experience
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience is recommended. Candidates with a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy will receive preferential admission.
- Previous Academic Performance
An undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. institution or its equivalent is required. Candidates whose GPA was below 3.0 may be required to take the GMAT exam. The GMAT exam is utilized to assess an applicant’s ability to perform in graduate-level courses. The GMAT exam is not required for all candidates. However, it is highly recommended and a successful score may strengthen your application.
- Organizational Support
Your employer must indicate its willingness to provide you with sufficient time to complete your MPBA class schedule. In addition to time off, many candidates receive financial support from their employers. However, this is not required.
- English Language Proficiency
Citizens of a country where English is not the official language must present an official TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score. For the TOEFL exam, a score of 100 or higher is desired. Scores below 80 will not be accepted. On the IELTS, a score of seven or higher is desired. Scores below 6.5 will not be accepted. A copy of your TOEFL or IELTS score is to accompany your application.
- Interview
The final stage of the selection process is the interview. Interviews provides us an opportunity to assess your motivation for enrolling in the MPBA program, the quality of your academic and professional experience, and your plans for personal and career growth.
Admission Offers
Candidates applying for admission to the MPBA program are typically notified within three weeks of the interview. Your application will either be accepted, rejected, or waitlisted. Candidates admitted to the program will receive an official offer letter from the program director. If waitlisted, those with the strongest credentials will be admitted.
