John is co-founder and CEO of Vivid Sciences LLC, a life science company targeting pathological condensates to develop life-changing therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. He also serves as a board member of Affective.health, a digital health company providing mobile platform services to improve patient engagement and increase medical adherence.
John’s previous Pitt roles include leadership of the graduate business school executive programs and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Innovation Institute, a role in which he partnered with health science researchers to assess the commercial potential of promising academic innovations.
John has two decades of industry experience, with executive roles at leading global medical and information technology companies. He has been active in regional startup formation, participating as a founder, executive and board member in multiple companies.
